Tom Toupin of Etsy.com creates these fabulous marquee style letters and signs that look vintage even though they're brand new! I've been dying for a large "W" to put up in our dining room ever since Kyle and I saw an antique one at the Olde Good Things store on the Upper West Side. However, that one was $1500! Tom's handmade letters are MUCH more affordable and just as full of character! Through a series of layers of paint he creates the distressed faux-metal rust appearance that makes these letters look like they've been freshly drug out of a salvage yard. The signs come in pink/orange, yellow/red and white/blue, however, he is open to creating custom color combinations if desired. He originally made the signs 4'x4', but has since sized them down to 2'x2'. I think this is exactly what I've been looking for!
