I have always loved Mid century modern style homes. My dream is to someday have the opportunity to buy one and renovate it! I completely adore everything about this renovation!
Lynn Harris, an executive vice president of production at Warner Bros., and her husband, Matti Leshem, founder and CEO of the branding company Protagonist, remodeled this classic mid-century post-and-beam house in Studio City. It was built in 1951, by architect Maynard Woodard, a former studio set designer for his personal residence while working at Welton Becket & Assoc., the architecture firm that designed Los Angeles landmarks like the Capitol Records Building and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Baby Talk...J/K
So, even though I'm still no where near wanting to be a mother yet, I still love looking at all the cute ideas for nurseries and "decorating" your baby! (Kyle, don't freak out, I'm just looking!) Here is a cute way to keep photographic records of what your baby looks like month to month, by dressing them in onesies outfitted in the month they are old.
What really caught my eye about this photo is the SO darling wallpaper behind the darling little girl! Definitely something I'd want in my someday baby girl's nursery!
SO precious all these little 'pups' and such creative ideas for photos!

Backyard Oasis
Lately I've been dreaming of all things that come with 'home ownership'. I think what I'm dreaming of most these days is to have an amazing back yard where me and the hubs can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset, Roxy can run free, and we could throw some killer parties...*sigh*... I also want the warm weather that comes with these dreams I have!
Someday we will have our own patch of green again!
How about you? What plans do you have for your lawn this Spring? Any planting or parties planned? Or even a planting party?! :)

Designer Spotlight: The Divine Chair Company
When it was still warm enough this past fall to venture out and about in the city, I would drag Mr. Williams to the Green Flea Market on the upper west side every Sunday before he would head to work. I would always stock up on all my fresh local veggies and fruit, and then head over to peruse through all the wonderful antiques and homemade goodies! I ALWAYS had to stop at the booth from the Divine Chair Company to see what playful upcycled seating options they had available that weekend. (Though I never purchased, they are a bit outside my price range!)
They also will update your old furniture that needs reupholstering.
You can contact them at 646.884.2400 or email at Divinechairs@live.com
This first one is my favorite! How great it would look as a fun replacement for a boring office desk chair!

Rv Dreaming?...
If ever I were to get an RV and drive the country, this is how I'd do it: in Boho surfer style! I've never had a desire to drive anywhere that I could rather fly, but this makes me want to become a beach dwelling surfer chick driving all down the coast catching waves, living Aloha...
Someday...maybe!

DIY: Valentine Envelope
Here's a great little way to show that special someone how much you care, courtesy of Martha Stewart. (And they never have to know how easy it really was to make this!)
Tug at your valentine's heartstrings with an embellished envelope. Cut out the hearts from colored card stock using a specialty hole punch (available at crafts stores). Poke two holes into each heart with a needle, then sew the hearts onto dual-capacity envelopes (buy your own or download our template) using the needle and silk beading cord. Secure stitches with a double knot on the backside of the flaps. After inserting the valentine, close the envelope by winding a 5-inch length of the cord in a figure-eight motion around the hearts.

Outfit Inspiration
Ever since I saw this photo floating around after Fashion Week last fall I've been DYING to find the PERFECT pair of pale pale denim jeans like these! I LOVE everything 70's when it comes to fashion, and I'm definitely thinking a pair of these jeans will be a staple in my wardrobe this Spring and Summer, and honestly, the rest of my life! Ideally I would DIE for a pair of vintage ones, anyone have a pair left in their closet from the seventies?
(Mom, I just know you had a pair 'just like that' as you always say...if only you had saved them for me!!!!)
Honestly tho, I Drool over every piece in this outfit, the jeans, the blouse, the belt (which I DO have one just like this from the seventies that my Mom actually DID save!), the bag, the HAT!, the jewelry.... Love Love LOVE

Princess Pink, Well, Queen Pink That Is!
I just adore this rug-turned-art work from www.stamprugs.com. I've been very into anything British lately, and not simply due to the upcoming nuptials of a certain Royal couple!

DIY Paperplate Party Decorations
These darling (and super easy) party decorations are a great and uberaffordable way to decorate for Valentine's Day this year!
The key to making them is to bend the sides of the plates down in order to form a triangle. Then simply glue together, and spray paint or even glitter-ize if desired!

Where the Best Dreams Are Dreamt
This post is to my hubby, Mr. Williams: When I told you last night what I think of to get myself to fall asleep, THIS is what I was describing. :) (Of course, you would be there too, snuggling with me!)
Every day spent with you is a dream come true, I love you!

DIY: Jewelry Frames
No matter how hard I try, I feel like I can never keep my jewelry drawer organized and 'tangle free' for more than a week or two before it's somehow back to a ruffled mess! I have always admired the concept of creating a framed jewelry holder. I love the look of these, with the already intricate and beautiful frame, attach a screen cut to size on the back using a stapler, and simply hook your earrings directly into the holes of the screen! I'm sure you could also find a way to attach your necklaces and bracelets by attaching some sort of mini hook into the screen, then attaching the jewelry on the hook. I will hopefully have the time in the very near future to make myself some of these!
